• (JBOSS/JSP/WUI, 10+ years of relevant experience)
IV) C++ Technical Lead – 1
• (Threading, design, architecture, 10+ years of relevant experience)
V) Java WUI senior engineers – 3
• (JBOSS/JSP/WUI, 5+ years of relevant experience)
VI) Technical Writer – 2 Position
Roles & Responsibilites:
Responsible for writing various types of technical documents, such as system guides, installation instructions, service notes, application notes, equipment online help, leaflets, etc. according to established standards.
Ability to work with Hardware / End-to-end systems like in the Telecom / TV Broadcasting domains, for h/w based Products like IP switches / Routers / Video Eqpt. etc.
The right candidate would have around 10 yrs of experience, able to work as an Individual Contributor , plus taking care of the planning / scheduling / co-ordination / researching by himself; highly self motivated.
Responsible for taking the very difficult to understand technical language and breaking it down into easy to read and understand language for the target users who can be a professional or first-time user.
Researching and verifying information are very important aspects of the job. Time management and an ability to work under tight deadlines for work and revisions is an important part of the job.
Good communication skills and an understanding of the process of writing is mandatory. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar is also key.
Must have experience working with various computer software programs such as: Microsoft Office, Authorit, Visio, Pro-Engineer, Paint Shop Pro, Acrobat…
Experience of Digital TV and IP technology is an asset; at least we expect great willingness to learn new technologies.
Common work activities include:
Meeting with project leaders and R&D to discuss possible projects, finalizing timelines and discussing data and information that is to be included in the writing.
Researching and verifying information that is to be included in the manual, leaflet, or other written material.
Writing the project within the stipulated timelines and submitting it to internal audience for feedback.
Completing all revisions and modifications as required.
Education : Degree in Technical Writing / Journalism / Computer Science / BA / BS
Experience : More than 8 years
Industry Type : Design & development of End-to-end Systems / Equipments / NMS systems in Digital Video / Networking Domains.
