New Delhi, Dec 6 (ANI): A delegation of Non-Motorised Transportation (NMT) with special emphasis to promote 'cycling' as a mean to overcome the issues of transfix congestion, life style diseases, pollution and daily commuting challenging called on Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari here on Tuesday.
The delegation that was led by Member of Parliament Tarun Vijay appealed Vice President Ansari to encourage cycling in urban India and one way was to set up city level NMT Cells with specific targets to promote cycling.
Promoting cycling has now become an urgent need to meet the key challenges faced by people living in Urban India.
