Senior Test Engineer – 1 Position - R906098:
· MS/BS EE or CS degree with a total of 7+ years of related software QA experience
· 5+ years of software QA test experience on IP Set-top Box testing in Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV environment
· 3+ years of programming in Java,Python/Jython & HTML5
· 3+ years of experience in Junit, Android CTS, & Android MonkeyRunner or equivalent test tools
· Hands on experience on the development of test scripts for test automation
· Experienced Linux user
· Experience in API testing
· Development or white-box test experience the Consumer devices such as Xbox/PS3/iPad/Android devices
Senior Test Engineer – 1 Position - R906099:
· MS/BS EE or CS degree with a total of 7+ years of related software QA experience
· Hands on experience on the development of test scripts for test automation
· Experience in using modulators, mpeg analyzers
· Experience testing different A/V codecs
· Experienced with Linux and basic networking tools & utilities
· Experience with DLNA/Upnp Conformance test tools
· Experience with Android Compatibility test suite
· Experience in DVB Conformance testing
General Testing Knowledge requirement for the above senior positions :
ü Strong skills in test plan development, unit/feature/system testing, and test report generation
ü Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
ü Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with different test, development and support groups
ü Proactive, well organized and attentive to details
ü Ability to plan and execute task with minimum supervision
ü Team player - Work well in a group environment while being able to contribute well on an individual basis
ü Should be able to understand the architecture, high level design and come up with use cases, execute test cases and also follow-up the issues with development teams.
ü Should also be well versed with Testing life cycle and bug tracking tools.
ü Should possess strong debugging or troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
ü Should have very good communication skills to work across groups and locations, and should be ready to travel to other locations, if required.
ü Should be open for both Manual/Automated testing and be flexible to work under various testing environments
ü Willing to work independently, motivate self and peers
ü Knowledge of cable systems and standards – DVB, MPEG will be an added advantage
Test Engineers – 2 positions - R906100 and R906101:
· MS/BS EE or CS degree with a total of 4+ years of related software QA experience
· System test engineer with IPTV & Cable STB experience.
· Experience with testing DLNA/DVR/VOD/Internet apps in an end-to-end system
· Experienced with Linux and basic networking tools & utilities
· Hands on experience on the development of test scripts for test automation
· Experience in API testing
· Android applicatons & HTML5 applications testing experience is preferred
· Knowledge of XMPP/TR-069/IPv6 is preferred
Testing Knowledge
